Luke Fitzgerald trained with the rest of the Leinster squad in UCD on Monday afternoon as the leaders of the Rabo Pro12 build up to their away encounter with Aironi this Friday evening.
Fitzgerald along with Mat Berquist, who has missed five months of action with a fractured patella, could return for the trip to Italy as the Heineken Cup champions look to continue their unbeaten run, a run that was almost ended by Glasgow last Saturday evening.
Back-row forward Dominic Ryan successfully came through his first start in over three months in Scotland in a game which also saw winger Andrew Conway return to the fray after a three month lay-off.
Meanwhile, over 46,000 tickets have now been sold for the Heineken Cup quarter final against the Cardiff Blues in the Aviva Stadium on Easter Saturday.
The final batch of tickets are still on sale from www.leinsterrugby.ie and with a sell out expected, supporters are advised to secure their tickets soon to avoid disappointment.
