Stephen Henderson called up to Irish squad ahead of ‘Three International Friendly’ against Czech Republic
The Football Association of Ireland today (February 27) confirmed that Portsmouth goalkeeper Stephen Henderson has been called into Giovanni Trapattoni’s squad to face the Czech Republic on February 29 in Aviva Stadium. Stephen replaces Kieran Westwood, who sustained a wrist injury in training today. Stephen will join up with the squad in time for training tomorrow morning.
Fulham defender Stephen Kelly has also withdrawn from the squad after picking up a thigh injury during Fulham’s clash against QPR on Saturday.
