The Inaugural Rehab Lough Allen Charity Cycle which will take place on Sunday 29th April. The event is intended to raise funds for Rehab Ireland whilst also showcasing Lough Allen as a tourist attraction.
There will be two cycles routes, both commencing from Leitrim Gaels G.A.A. grounds in Leitrim Village. A 30km and a 60km. The Cycle will commence at 9am, with registration open from 8am on the day of the race. All participants will have access to a physio and leg massage afterwards.
Michael Carty from Rehab said ‘We are delighted to be part of this fantastic cycling event that will support our services in Leitrim, We hope that all the local cycling enthusiasts will join us on the day, We are inviting local charities to get involved also, where they can get participants to cycle and raise funds for their charity.”
Registration fee of €25 includes a goodie bag and refreshments for all competitors after the race. All participants will be entered into a draw for a weekend away.
