10.01pm Under 21 1/2 hours to go to the second weekend of the new season and there are very intriguing ties to look forward to. A Dublin derby between Bohs, fresh from the new sponsorship deal with DHL, and local rivals Shelbourne is the pick of the night’s game with Cork and Shamrock Rovers opening their home accounts against Drogheda and Monaghan. In Division one, there are only two games, with Waterford United and Limerick the pick of the bunch. Both sides are strong favourites for a promotion push, although the blues of Waterford will be looking to put last week’s horror show against Wexford behind them. The Youths will travel to Galway to take on SD Galway looking to build on that amazing 6-0 win.
