Both sides enjoyed their first wins of the campaign last weekend with Kildare edging Meath in a thrilling contest in Navan, and Derry defeating Ulster rivals Monaghan in Celtic Park.

Kildare have named the same starting 15 as last week for their home game against Derry.
Kildare team: Shane Connolly, Andriú MacLochlainn, Michael Foley, Ollie Lyons, Emmet Bolton, Morgan O’Flaherty, Hugh McGrillen, Daryl Flynn, John Doyle, James Kavanagh, Mikey Conway, Padraig O’Neill, Eamonn Callaghan, Tomás O’Connor, Eoghan O’Flaherty.

Derry will be without three key players from last weekend’s victory over Monaghan when they travel to Newbridge this Sunday. Both Gerard O’Kane and Michael Bateson miss out through injury while Mark Lynch is due to be married tomorrow before heading off on honeymoon which will also rule him out of the games against Meath and Louth.

Derry team: Not confirmed as yet.
