Irish Cricketers beaten by West Indies

Ireland put up a brave display this morning against the West Indies and midway through their own batting they looked like they may gain a surprise win.

Ireland won the toss and decided to field with the West Indies batting 275 all out (50.0 overs).

Ed Joyce top scored for Ireland getting 84 from 106 balls, Gary Wilson also broke the half century scoring 61 from 62 balls.  The dissapointment was Kevin O’Brien who only scored 5 from 9 after being caught by Pollard.
Ireland finished with 231 which was 45 runs away from a win.
