Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has said he was ”reading nothing” into reports linking Luis Suarez with Paris Saint Germain.
Suarez has admitted that he could be interested in a move which would see him link up with fellow Uruguayan Diego Lugano at PSG. The French club have been linked closely with a move for the 25 year-old hit man.
When questioned about the possibility of Suarez moving to Paris; Dalglish poured cold water on the topic by stating that Lugano hadn’t been playing much himself: ”How often has Lugano played this year?” being the canny Scot’s reply to questions on what is clearly a thorny subject for him as he would love to keep a player who is a similar talent to what the 62 year-old was in his 1970′s/80′s heyday.
“The programme (which was for a French television sports show) was actually about Lugano and also mentioned other players including Cavani.
Anything you tell me, I’m dismissing,” said the Glaswegian before leaving the Anfield press room.
