Paraguay’s main holding midfielder Victor Caceres is a target for many top European clubs according to his representatives.
Europes top clubs have been alerted to the Libertad man following stellar performances from him at the 2010 World Cup and 2011 Copa America. Caceres is now recognised as one of the best defensive midfielders in the world today after another strong season at both club and international level in the hard fought South American qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup.

The Ascunción native, who turns 27 at the end of the month has won 26 caps for his national team as well as making more than 160 appearances for his hometown club Libertad. As a utility player he can play in midfield, just in front of the back four or at centre-half and frequently advances on attacking runs from deep. He has won four Paraguayan league titles and is particularly well known for his tough tackling but clean disciplinary record.
