Fermanagh outclassed by Tyrone

Fermanagh were completely outclassed by Tyrone, as the away side ran out 1-14 to 1-03 winners in their Cadbury Ulster U21 Championship Preliminary Round clash in Enniskillen on Wednesday evening.

Tyrone exploited early Fermanagh nerves, and took a lead of 1-08 to just 0-1 in at half-time.

The second half didn’t get off to a much better start for the Fermanagh men, with Tyrone again kicking the first point of the half.

Quigley registered Fermanagh’s second score of the evening 13 minutes into the second period, before Owens kicked a third soon after.

Tyrone then kicked the next three points before Tomas Corrigan scored a consolation goal for Fermanagh.

Tyrone finished off the scoring with another point at the death, to claim a 1-14 to 1-03 win over their Ulster rivals.
Tyrone now progress to a meeting with Donegal next week.
