Manchester United look set to make an offer for Ajax pair Christian Eriksen and Vicktor Fischer.
According to reports in www.CalcioMercato.com Sir Alex Ferguson is lining up a 23 million euro move for the pair as he bids to inject yet more youth into his side.
20 year old Danish star Eriksen has attracted the interest of Manchester City and AC Milan already this season and has two years left on his Ajax contract.
Eriksen joined Ajax from Odense Boldklub in 2010 making an almost immediate impact on the first team, catching the eye with some impressive performances.
The midfielder, capped 21 times by the Danish national side, came to prominence in the English media when he was named Man of the Match in his country’s 2-1 defeat to England in February 2011.
Fischer meanwhile is only 17 and would be viewed as one for the future. The striker, compared by many to former AC Milan striker Jon Dahl Tomasson, scored a hat trick for Ajax against Liverpool the other night to seal the Dutch sides place in the Nextgen series final.
