O’Brien coy on So You Think ride

Joseph O’Brien has moved to quell speculation that he is set to get the plum ride on So You Think should the eight time Group 1 winner line up in the Dubai World Cup at the end of the month.

O’Brien junior capped a fantastic 2011 when he landed the Breeder’s Cup Turf aboard St Nicholas Abbey, who was trained by his father Aidan. With Ryan Moore, a jockey O’Brien snr turned to in the big races last season, apparently lined up to partner Planteur for Marco Botti many people see Joseph as the natural jockey to take the ride.

However the young jockey was quick to damping the speculation.”As yet we’re not quite sure what’s going and what’s not going,” said O’Brien.

“I haven’t been told what I’ll be riding and all the horses still have a couple of pieces of work to be done.

“Nothing is 100% certain to be going just yet.”
