Saturday’s fixture between Bolton and Blackburn at the Reebox Stadium will go ahead as planned according to the club.
The fixture had been in doubt following the cardiac arrest suffered by Fabrice Muamba during the weekends FA Cup game with Spurs.
However, the match will go ahead after discussion with the team.
Manager Owen Coyle told www.bwfc.co.uk: “We spoke together with the players as a group this morning and I talked with Fabrice’s family last night.
“Fabrice’s father Marcel and his fiancee Shauna were keen that we fulfil our fixtures. Once the players knew this, there was no doubt in our mind that we would play the matches.”
Muamba has made steady improvement in his condition since the weekends harrowing incident where the 23 year old former English Under21 International collapsed with no one around him
