Liverpool Football Club are reported to have offered trials to three of Ghana’s top young footballing talents.
The trio; Bright Gyenfi, James Akaminko and Nurudeen Amed are due to arrive together at Anfield early next month. All three come from Prampram Mighty Royals Football Club. That is the same club that produced 19 year-old midfield star Masahudu Alhassan who was recently signed by Serie A side Genoa.
Gyenfi, aged 16, is a right-back, whilst 18-year-olds Amed and Akaminko are midfielders. The trio will arrive on Merseyside in April with trials planned for with the youth team.
Liverpool are just one of a number of Premier League clubs who were reported to be interested in the teenagers, and they have been the first to make a move. Charles Amankwah of Asante Kotoko is also believed to be of interest to Liverpool and could also join his fellow countrymen for a trial in England, though that is yet to be finalised.
