Joseph O’Brien believes that Dubai World Cup favourite So You Think will take “all the beating” after the Ballydoyle challenger drew stall number 4 of 14 for the world’s richest horse race this coming Saturday.
Speaking after he had guided Robin Hood to win at Leopardstown on Wednesday evening, O’Brien feels that So You Think, a three time Group 1 winner in Europe last season, has a favourites chance this weekend.
“There’s nothing wrong with stall four and there seems to be some pace on which will suit him. He’s in great form and I think he will take all the beating. The Breeders’ Cup came at the end of a long season and hopefully he can show gow good he is on Saturday.”
The young jockey is also happy with the well being of his other two big mounts at the weekend, St Nicholas Abbey [Sheema Classic], and Await The Dawn [Dubai Duty Free].
“He’s [St Nicholas Abbey] quite an easy horse to get right and has been doing everything right. He’s in good form and should run well. Await The Dawn is also in good form. He’s won over the trip in the past, which will suit.”
