Aside from the re-arranged Division 1 clash between Mayo and Dublin, Division 4 is the only football Division to have any fixtures this weekend.
Fermanagh and Clare are four points clear at the top of the table. Of the top two; only Fermanagh are playing this weekend and they will effectively book their place in the divisional final with victory over Limerick in Enniskillen.
Waterford host Carlow in Dungarvan on Saturday with the home side knowing that given that they are four points adrift of the joint leaders that they must win to retain any realistic possibility of finishing in the top two. Carlow, on four points from their five games played will know that this is effectively a dead rubber for them and their thoughts will likely be turning to try out fresh faces ahead of the start of the Championship.
London travel to face Kilkenny at Nowlan Park with both sides eager to earn their first points of the 2012 campaign. Kilkenny have conceded an average of a whopping 33 points per game over their six matches this year whilst scoring less than four points per game and will be looking to regain some pride in this encounter.
Wicklow entertain Leitrim in Aughrim as the third and fourth placed sides, with both knowing that a defeat would end their chances of securing a berth in the league final.
Limerick travel to Fermanagh knowing that only a win will keep the Treaty County in with a chance of reaching the league final whilst a win for the northerners would, barring a mathematical miracle, book their place in the league final.
