United lining up Dutch “Roy Keane”

Manchester United are lining up a bid for PSV Eindhoven midfielder Kevin Strootman.

According to the Daily Mirror, Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to offer £15 million offer for the 22 year old dubbed the “new Roy Keane”.

The Dutchman has become an integral player for club and country in recent months and such is his form that he has displaced Nigel de Jong in the Dutch national side.

United scouts have watched Strootman a number of times in recent weeks and have been impressed with what they have seen.

Strootman became his career with Sparta Rotterdam before joining PSV in the summer of 2011.
