Agassi inducted into Hall of Fame

Andre Agassi has been inducted into the tennis Hall of Fame. The 41 year old won eight Grand Slam titles over his long career, competing in 15 Grand Slam finals.

The American was inducted into the Hall at a special ceremony at Newport’s International Tennis Hall of Fame and Museum in Rhode Island.

Agassi was able to compete on all surfaces, owning one of the best service returns in the history of the game. His ability allowed him to become one of two men in history to win all four Grand Slams and the Olympics, while he is one of seven to have won all four Grand Slams.

The American won four Australian Opens, two US Opens and solitary titles at Wimbledon and the French Open. Overall, Agassi won 60 ATP tournaments and amassed over $30m in career prize money.
