Antrim changes in spine

Antrim have  three changes in each line of the field (defence, midfield and attack) for their trip to Clare this weekend.

KB McShane comes in at right half back, Michael Gettens will start at midfield whilst Conor McCann will line our at full forward for Saturday’s game at Ennis Park.  The trio will replace  Barry McFall, Kevin Sheerin and Sean McLaughlin who all finished Antrim’s first game; a nine point win over Wexford at Casement Park.

Manager Jerry Wallace has also made a number of positional changes which see Neal McAuley move from wing back to centre back with Neil McManus now at midfield and Karl Stewart switching to the half forward line.

The men from the Glen will have to do without their Loughiel Shamrocks players who preparing for the AIB All-Ireland Club hurling final which takes place on St. Patrick’s Day.
