Arsenal and Manchester City are chasing Borussia Dortmund striker Lucas Barrios, according to German paper Bild.
The Paraguayan striker enjoyed two prolific seasons after joining Dortmund in 2009, but the 27 year old has struggled to make the first team this season.
Arsenal and Manchester City are the latest in a long line of European clubs to be linked with the striker.
Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc refused to comment on the situation, saying, “We do not comment on speculation”.
Barrios started his career at Colo Colo and joined Borussia Dortmund for €4.2m in 2009. The striker scored 44 goals in 91 games in his first two seasons, which helped Dortmund win the Bundesliga in 2010/11.
