Connacht’s John Muldoon scoops Player of the Month

Connacht and Irish Wolfhounds flanker John Muldoon has received the Player of the Month award for December following his outstanding displays in Connacht’s back to back Heineken Cup matches against Gloucester, the win over Harlequins – Where he was named Man of the match – as well as his application and attitude during training.

Muldoon also recently started the O2 Woflhounds defeat to the English Saxons.

The exclusive award is presented in association with Hartmanns Jewellers and Tag Heuer watches and is presented to players who have displayed exceptional leadership and ability both on and off the field over the course of the month.

Speaking about the award Team Manager Tim Allnutt said:

“John is very deserving of this award, he has consistently performed exceptionally well on the pitch and remains one of our natural leaders off the pitch as well. His performances against Gloucester in December were outstanding and it is a credit to the man that he is still turning out huge performances week in week out. His dedication and ability has been recognised at National level with his inclusion in the Ireland Wolfhounds team and we are delighted to present him with this award as well.”

A thrilled Muldoon said:
