Leo Cullen has been named in Ireland’s 24 man squad for the Six nations despite reports of a serious injury.

Reports this morning suggested the Ireland and Leinster lock would undergo surgery on both achilles tendons and miss eight to ten weeks. Declan Kidney decided to name Cullen in his squad despite these fears.

Luke Fitzgerald and Tomas O’Leary were omitted from the squad, however.
