Irish coach Declan Kidney has added eight players to his squad and added to the match day 22 that were on duty in the last round of the RBS 6 Nations Championship.
Andrew Trimble returned to action at the weekend, following a hand injury. He is included in the squad ahead of the game against Scotland in Edinburgh next Sunday.
Tommy Bowe also returned to play for Ospreys, having been out with a knee injury during the first two rounds of the championship, and has been named in the squad. Backs Denis Hurley and Gavin Duffy also came through without any worries from their provincial games in the Magners League and are included.
Mick O’Driscoll and Donnacha Ryan have also been give the nod as have Tony Buckley and back row Rhys Ruddock.
The Irish squad will gather in Dublin tonight before holding their first training session tomorrow morning.
