Donegal had an easy opening round match against Cavan and although bookies favourites, and on home soil, Derry will push them to the very end.
Donegal had injury concerns earlier in the week but manager Jim McGuinness has confirmed that both Michael Murphy and Rory Kavanagh are fit for selection for the quarter final clash. “We are fortunate to have a number of players who are long-term injured and are now back training and building up their fitness,” said McGuinness. “Michael and Rory are back in the picture.”
