Draw for Kerry County Championships semi-finals

The All Ireland titles having being decided for 2012, the main focus in the weeks ahead, in so far as hurling and football is concerned will turn to County Championship semi-finals and Finals in most counties.


Down Kerry way , the draw for the semi finals of the Garveys Supervalu Senior County Football Championship took place on Radio Kerry sport . Patrick O’Sullivan, The Chairman of the County Committee and Jim Garvey from Garvey’s Supervalu pulled the teams for the draw as follows:

• Dr. Crokes V Laune Rangers
• Daingean Uí Chúis V St. Kiernan’s

A reminder that the Garvey’s Supervalu County Senior Hurling Final takes place at

Austin Stack Park, Tralee, on October 7th @ 3.30pm


Defending champions Ballyduff are seeking their third title a row and their 24th in total. Lixnaw have not won the championship since 2007 and will going for their 8th title.

It promises to be an epic encounter between these North Kerry neighbours.
