Edinburgh Rugby are set to bid farewell to ten loyal servants of the club at this Saturday’s match against Treviso (kick-off 7:30pm).
Season ticket holders can bring a friend to the game for free. Rugby fans can then round off the weekend of rugby with half-price party stand tickets for day two of The Emirates Airline Glasgow 7s at Scotstoun Stadium this Sunday 6th May.
Six months after quitting international rugby, Chris Patterson will end of the best careers of any Scottish rugby player, having spent more than ten years at the club.
Mike Blair, who confirmed his departure a fortnight ago, will be joined by long-standing servants Phil Godman and hooker Andrew Kelly, with the 23-times Scotland capped stand-off set to join Edinburgh Rugby’s 150 club with an appearance this Saturday.
The club will also bid farewell to popular flanker Alan MacDonald, who first joined the club as an apprentice in 2004 and went on to make 98 appearances for the club.
Kelly’s front-row colleagues, Scotland-capped Kyle Traynor and Jack Gilding, ever-presents in this season’s landmark campaign, are also leaving the club, as are Argentine lock Esteban Lozada and full-back Jim Thompson.
