European Indoors: Live updates 04/03/11

We will have live updates on all the Irish athletes in action a the first day of the European indoor championships,There are four Irish competitors today.

17:48 Derval O’Rourke ran a brave race, but only finished fourth in the 60m final. Her time of 7.96secs was her fastest time of the 2011.
15:03 Derval finishes third in her semi-final and will now appear in the final at 5:40pm
11:02Dan Mulhane finished 6th in his heat of the 3,000m, It was not good enough to qualify and his time of just over 8min4sec will not be good enough for a fastest loser place.
9:34 Marian Heffernan ran a close up fifth in a time of 54.94, from a horror draw in lane one she will not qualify for this afternoons semi-final.
8:45 Derval O’Rourke easily qualified for the semi-finals of the 60m hurdles, She finished 2nd in her heat with a time of 8.07 seconds, The time was slightly outside her seasons best.
8:05 Darren McBrearty will run in the first round of the 800m at 4:45pm
8:03 Late addition Dan Mulhare runs in the 3000m at 10.15am.
8:02pm Marian Heffernan has her first round in 400m at 9.20am and again if she is successful she will race in the semi-final at 4:45pm
8:00pm If Derval O’Rourke has a successful day she will race at 8.45am, 2.45pm and 5.40pm in heats, semi-final and final.
