Davy Fitzgerald and John Allen have officially been confirmed as the new Clare and Limerick hurling managers respectively.
The Limerick County Board ratified Allen as their new boss at last night’s board meeting in Claughaun. Allen, who led Cork to the 2005 All-Ireland title was approved by the county’s management committee last Thursday night.
Ciaran Carey, John Kiely and Eamon Meskell have been named as selectors while Donacadh O Donnell takes charge of training.
Also on Tuesday night, ex Deise boss Davy Fitzgerald was ratified as Clare’s new manager on a three-year term. The former Banner goalkeeper succeeds Ger O’Loughlin in the role. Fitzgerald named Louis Mulqueen and Mike Deegan as his selectors.
