Forpadydeplasterer is well on his way to recovery following his disappointing run in the King George Chase at Kempton, and could still make this years Cheltenham festival according to trainer Thomas Cooper.
“He’s very good this week. He’s trotting round the roads now,’ said Cooper.
“Hopefully we’ll see him run again this season, but we’ll just sit tight for the minute. We’ll keep the options at Cheltenham open for the time being”.
Forpadydeplasterer has three entries at Cheltenham – Queen Mother Champion Chase, the Ryanair Chase and the totesport Cheltenham Gold Cup. At the time of writing no firm decision has been made as to which race the horse will run in.
