Greyhound Razldazl seeks win for O’Muircheartaigh

Razldazl Rioga the greyhound presented by the Irish Greyhound Board to Micheal O’ Muircheartaigh on his retirement will make his much anticipated debut in Micheal’s native Kerry at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium tonight.

He will compete in the first round of the Gallivan Murphy Hooper Dolan Insurances Killarney Juvenile Classic at Tralee. The competition has a winner’s prize of €15,000 – making it Irelands richest Juvenile Race. “Rioga” who is trained by Dolores Ruth makes his debut from Trap 5 in the Fourth Race in what promises to be a very competitive event . This competition which is the first Classic Race of the Year in the Irish Greyhound Board Calendar is traditionally a very competitive stake with top class pups from all over Ireland travelling to compete for the winner’s prize.

There will be nine first round heats with four to qualify from each heat. Gates open at 6.30pm and the first race is at 7.45pm. Admission is €10.00 per person and includes race programme.
