Ex-Leinster Hooker Jason Harris-Wright has signed a new one year contract with Connaught
The player has been a product of the Leinster youth academy finding his way onto the senior panel. In all Harris-Wright made 11 eleven appearances for Leinster including an appearance in last year’s European Cup Final.
The 24 year old will strengthen the side in the hooker position along with the experienced Adrian Flavin and Ethienne Reynecke who are already in the squad. The hooker was a part of Ireland’s Under-20 World Championship squad in 2008.
Connaught is looking to build their squad into a formidable team to compete against the other Irish clubs.
They also signed 26 year old Brian Murphy from Galwegians on a one year contract. Murphy can play at full back or centre and was voted Connaught club player of the year this season after fine performance in the All-Ireland campaign for Galwegians.
