Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham are all on red alert following the news that Wigan striker Hugo Rodallega is continuing to refuse to sign a new contract with the club.

The Colombian international is in the final year of his current contract and reports claim that he does not want to stay at Wigan and is seeking a move to a bigger club.

Rodallega sat kicking his heels on the bench as Wigan opened their campaign against Norwich, suggesting the club could be freezing him out of the first team in a bid to get him to sign a new contract with them.

With Rodallega being valued at £9million by Wigan, it is surely only a matter of time before one of the major clubs show their hand and make a bid.
