Bolton centre-forward Tope Obadeyi has agreed to return to Rochdale on loan for the second time in his career.
Obadeyi previously played at Spotland during the 2009-’10 season; scoring once from 11 starts. He joins Rochdale until the end of the season during this month’s loan transfer window and could be in line to feature in the local derby against Oldam Athletic at the weekend.
Obadeyi (22) has yet to start a match for Premier League struggles Bolton having featured just three times from the substitute’s bench in his four years at the Reebok. He has previously been loaned to Swindon Town, Shrewsbury Town and Chesterfield before his second stint at Rocdale.
Obadeyi is of Nigerian heritage having been born in Birmingham to an English mother and Nigerian father. He is a 6’3″ combative centre-forward who has previously played at international level for England’s Under 20′s; scoring once from two starts as well scoring five times in four appearances for the Under 19 national team.
