Irish winger Simon Zebo has been ruled out for up to ten weeks after suffering a broken foot in this afternoon’s Six Nations loss to England.
Zebo was substituted in the 11th minute after he looked to have suffered a muscle injury while trying to receive a hacked ball from England’s Chris Ashton.
The 22-year-old made his Six Nations debut last weekend and was an instrumental figure in Ireland’s win over Wales. He hit the headlines after retaining the ball by back-heeling the ball in the lead up to Cian Healy’s try.
Jonathan Sexton is due to go for scan to assess a hamstring injury after also being substituted in the first half.
