Several thousand fans came out to watch St Kilda’s first competitive action of the year in what is likely to be the final such occasion at Linen House Oval, but more importantly for Irish fans it was the first chance to see Ex-Kerry Footballer Tommy Walsh in his first match.

Tommy got some mixed reaction from fans
“unfortunatly he looked lost up forward and poor skills. Hopefully a couple of games and he will become a star”

His coach seemed very happy and it will be very interesting to see will he start in next week’s NAB Cup opener against Collingwood on Friday 20th February.
