Live Commentary:
Full time Munster are comfortable winners after the first 25 minutes had the game wrapped up. The end of the first half and the beginning of the second made for nervy moments for the away side but confident penalties from O’Gara settled Munster down and Simon Zebo eventually secured the bonus try late on. Treviso started the game badly but Munster allowed them to come back into the game and should’ve killed the game in the first half.

76min Scrum to Munster in a good position and a chance for them to mount an attack and score the bonus try. The attack breaks down however after Mafi can’t hold onto the ball.
73min Treviso are penalised from the scrum and O’Gara clears the ball. The veteran outhalf is subbed as well as Varley and Scott Deasy and Denis Fogarty replace them.

69min Zebo is inches from scoring but he’s tackled and Munster spread the ball from left to right. The Munster attack falls short however as they are penalised for crossing and Treviso clear their lines.

67min Danger for Munster as Treviso’s Brendan Williams intercepted a pass and was nearly clean through to score but the Munster defence recovered.
66min Munster win a penalty because of obstruction, much to the dismay of the home crowd. Dave O’Callaghan goes off for Tommy O’Donnell.
64min Peter O’Mahony is penalised for something that one of the referee’s assistants saw which gives Treviso the chance to clear and attack with a lineout inside Munster’s half.
63min Munster sub scrum half Duncan Williams is penalised for not putting the ball into the scrum in time. Munster win a lineout however and will have yet another chance at getting a bonus try.
62min Lineout to Munster within Treviso’s 22 metre line but give the ball away. Luckily for them, Treviso knock the ball on and Munster will have another scoring chance from the scrum.
60min Felix Jones is on for Johne Murphy and Marcus Horan is on for Du Preez.
58min The home side turn the ball over but then knock the ball forward and Munster will get the put in to the scrum.
57min Treviso look to get back into the game with a lineout deep in Munster territory but Munster gain possession.

46min Treviso are looking likely to score here as they try to take advantage of their numbers. Poor passing from the Italians keeps stifling their own attacks.

44min Both teams looking dangerous as the action goes from one half to the other. Munster eventually slow the play down with a penalty which O’Gara tries to find touch with but a Treviso player keeps the ball in.
41min We’re back underway at the Stadio Monigo as Treviso mount an attack. Munster are still one man down after Mick O’Driscoll’s yellow card.

Half time After a very long first half, the referee blows the whistle and Treviso have some points on the board. Munster started strongly and the damage could have been a lot worse if it were not for the last 10 minutes of the first half and the away side allowing Treviso back in the game.

40min+4 TRY to Treviso! The home side finally score as scrum half Fabio Semenzato breaks from the scrum and goes over the line.
40min+2 Mick O’Driscoll is shown a yellow card and sent to the sin bin after repeated infringements. Treviso have the put in to the scrum 5 metres from Munster’s line.
40min The clock ticks into the red and another scrum collapses because of Munster. The referee will have to step in soon, and it will most likely be a yellow card for a Munster player.
38min Munster manage to push Treviso back about 10 metres but the Italians gain the same ground again and are camped just outside the Munster tryline.
36min The scrum finally holds up and Treviso come out with it but Munster stop their runners.
35min The same scrum is holding up the play and the referee is giving both teams a talking to.
33min Munster some how hold on and Treviso have a scrum as Vermaak goes off with a jaw injury and is replaced by Gonzalo Padro.
32min The home side are inches from the tryline as Munster cling on to their clean sheet.
30min Treviso have a rare spell in Munster’s half and they win a penalty for a Munster player not rolling away from the ruck. Treviso go for the corner with the penalty.
28min Treviso are having a nightmare and the crowd are very unhappy. They’re kick off attempt was penalised for their players being offside; it’s not the Italians’ day.
26min O’Gara makes it look so easy with his third successful conversion of the day.
25min TRY to Munster! It was coming a mile away and O’Gara’s clever little grubber kick behind the Treviso defence allows Johne Murphy to ground the ball for the third try of the day.
24min Munster have Treviso pegged back in their own half as Zebo hesitated instead of unloading the ball to a free winger. It looks only a matter of time before the Irish side score another.
23min Treviso turn the ball over from a lineout but then kick it straight to Hurley.
19min O’Gara scores from the penalty to put Munster 17-0 up.
18min The Munster players aren’t happy with Treviso after Barnes is on the end of a high tackle. Penalty to Munster and O’Gara will go for the posts.
16min Munster are all over Treviso inside their half and the home team’s unforced errors keep gifting the away side possession.
