For instance, Jisgaw gives families, teachers, and those who support young people’s mental health ways to cope with life’s challenges.

Niamh Fahey this week sat down for a video call with Jigsaw Youth Advisory Panel member Ciara McNamara, who is a also former Republic of Ireland U-19 international.

Undoubtedly, Galway native Fahey has enjoyed a fantastic career to date. Firstly, she has earned 91 senior caps. The Irishwoman won every trophy available with Arsenal. In addition, she also played for Chelsea and Bordeaux. She is currently Liverpool FC Ladies captain.

The Galwegian spoke honestly with Ciara McNamara, who plays for Cork City in the Women’s National League, and offered advice on how she has worked hard to succeed.

“There is a lot of pressure placed on young people. They need to feel that it’s okay to talk to someone, no matter what they are going through” admits Fahey.

“Jigsaw are doing terrific work in helping young people around mental health. It is through people like Ciara that they can make a positive impact on people’s lives”, Fahey added.
