For the third consecutive week, the NFL will play a regular season game in London as the Texans and Jaguars meet at Wembley Stadium.

Jacksonville defeated Philadelphia, 19-17, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London last week while Houston earned their first win of the season with a 26-3 win at Tennessee.

The Jaguars lead the NFL in rushing defence this season and became the second team in the Super Bowl era to not allow an opposing player to rush for 40-or-more yards in their first five games of a season, joining the 1969 Dallas Cowboys.

This week, Jacksonville can tie the 1998-2000 Baltimore Ravens (23 consecutive games) for the third-longest streak of consecutive games without allowing an opposing player to rush for 75-or-more yards in the Super Bowl era.

Houston defensive end Will Anderson leads the NFL with 7.5 sacks and 10 tackles for loss this season and is one of three players with at least 7.5 sacks and 10 tackles for loss in his team’s first five games of a season since 2000.

The AFC South rivals met twice last season, with the Jaguars winning 17-10 at their home venue of Everbank Stadium, before the Texans avenged that defeat with a 36-29 victory at NRG Stadium.

Last season, both teams reached the play-offs, with the Jaguars losing at home to Buffalo Bills in the wild card round. The Texans lost out to the New England Patriots in the divisional round.

Live coverage today on Virgin Media Two starts at 2.25pm, with the game kicking off at 2.30pm.

Today is the final of the three London 2026 NFL regular season games as the Houston Texans and the Jacksonville Jaguars meet at Wembley Stadium

The Jaguars, who defeated the Philadelphia Eagles at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last weekend are placing consecutive games in the English capital.

This season so far, 24 NFL games have featured a game-winning score in the final five minutes of the fourth quarter or in overtime.

Three teams – Kansas City (4-0), Minnesota (5-0, Week 6 bye) and San Francisco (5-0) – remain undefeated while eight teams that missed the postseason in 2025 have a winning record through the first five weeks.

Here are some select previews for Week 6 of the NFL

Los Angeles Chargers (0-5) at Kansas City (4-0)

The Chiefs, coming off a Week 5 bye, can begin 5-0 for the fifth time since head coach Andy Reid was hired in 2013. Reid, who also led Philadelphia to a 5-0 start in 2004, can become the third head coach all-time to lead a team to a 5-0 start in six season.

Kansas City running back Kenneth Walker has 621 scrimmage yards and six touchdowns this season and is one of two players in NFL history with at least 175 scrimmage yards in three of his first four games with a franchise. In Week 6, he can become the first running back in 60 seasons (Emerson Boozer, 1967 with the New York Jets) with multiple touchdowns in four of his team’s first five games of a season.

Buffalo (4-1) at Las Vegas (3-2)

Last week, Bills quarterback Josh Allen became the fourth quarterback all-time with at least 100 wins, including the postseason, in his first nine career seasons, joining Patrick Mahomes (112), Russell Wilson (107) and Tom Brady (101). Allen totalled 331 yards (210 passing, 121 rushing) and two touchdowns (one passing, one rushing) in the win, becoming the first quarterback ever with a rushing touchdown in each of his team’s first five games of a season.

Raiders tight end Brock Bowers is one of two tight ends in NFL history with at least 80 receiving yards and a touchdown reception in each of his first three games of a season, joining Rob Gronkowski (2011 with New England). This week, he can become the fifth tight end ever with five receptions, including a touchdown catch, in five consecutive games..

New York Jets (2-3) at New England (3-2)

Last week, the Jets recorded eight sacks, the most by any team in a game this season, in the team’s 17-12 victory over Cleveland, including three sacks by rookie EDGE David Bailey. Bailey is one of three players in the last 24 seasons (2003-26) to record three sacks in a game within his first five career games.

In Week 5, New England quarterback Drake Maye became the youngest player ever (24 years, 42 days) and the fourth player all-time with at least 350 passing yards (374), four touchdown passes, a passer rating of 150-or-higher (150.9) and a rushing touchdown in a single game.

Baltimore (4-1) at Cleveland (3-2)

The Ravens and Browns are two of eight teams with at least three wins in 2026 that missed the playoffs last season. Cleveland can win each of its first three home games for the third time since 1999 (2004 and 2020) while Baltimore can win each of its first four road games for the second time in franchise history (2020).

Baltimore’s Derrick Henry can become the third running back age 32-or-older with a touchdown in each of his team’s first six games of a season.

Cleveland’s Denzel Boston leads all rookies with 330 receiving yards and leads the NFL with 20.6 yards per reception this season (minimum 10 catches). He is one of five players in the Super Bowl era to record a reception of 25-or-more yards in each of his first five career games.

Dallas (2-3) at Green Bay (3-2)

Last week, Packers wide receivers Christian Watson (six receptions for 143 yards and two touchdowns) and Matthew Golden (six receptions for 123 yards) became the fourth pair of teammates to each average 20-or-more yards per catch on six-or-more receptions in the same game since 2000..

Watson (26 for 474; 18.2) and Golden (24 receptions for 397 yards; 16.5) are one of four pairs of wide receiver teammates to average at least 16 yards per catch on 20-or-more receptions in their team’s first five games of a season since 2000.

Washington (1-3-1) at San Francisco (5-0) (Monday night)

The 49ers can win each of their first six games of a season for the fourth time in franchise history (1984, 1990 and 2019).

San Francisco quarterback Brock Purdy leads the NFL with 13 touchdown passes and ranks second among qualified passers with a 119.3 rating this season. In Week 6, he can become the first quarterback since 2018 (Philip Rivers) with multiple touchdown passes and a passer rating of 90-or-higher in each of his team’s first six games of a season.

49ers linebacker Fred Warner recorded his 20th career forced fumble last week and is one of three players under the age of 30 with at least 20 forced fumbles and 10 interceptions since 2000, joining Lavonte David and Charles Tillman.

Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels recorded rushing touchdowns of 38 and 26 yards in Week 5 and became the second quarterback since 1950 with multiple rushing touchdowns of 25-or-more yards in the same game.

The Jacksonville Jaguars scored a late field goal to defeat Philadelphia Eagles 19-17 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this afternoon.

Kicker Cam Little was the hero in what was the 14th time the venue has hosted an NFL game since the Raiders defeated the Bears 24-21 in October 2019.

Little’s successful 57-yard effort at the end of the game was the climax of an exciting final few minutes of the fourth quarter.

The Eagles had just seconds earlier looked to have done enough to take the victory when their kicker Jake Elliott kicked his field goal from 48 yards.

The Eagles, who had won both of their previous matches outside the USA, against Jacksonville at Wembley in 2018 and Green Bay in Brazil in 2024, however, tasted defeat for the first time in an International fixture.

The Jaguars, who are a regular feature at Wembley Stadium, had won seven of their previous 14 International games.

Early Stages

The opening play of the game saw Eagles’ linebacker Jeremiah Trotter and Jaguars’ defensive end Bryan Thomas Jr both disqualified.

The Jags thought they had scored a touchdown but with many players involved in a melee in the centre of the field, officials, who at first, had difficulty in regaining control, disallowed the score, and found both Trotter and Thomas Jr guilty of unnecessary rough play, thus disqualifying them both.

The Jaguars, the designated home team for the fixture, took the lead through Parker Washington in the opening quarter.

A short Trevor Lawrence pass to Washington saw the wide receiver race 51 yards to the endzone and break the scoreboard deadlock.

Cam Little’s extra point gave the Jaguars a 7-0 lead over the Eagles at the end of the first quarter.

Shipley Eagles’ Touchdown

Will Shipley got the Eagles on the scoreboard in the second quarter. The running back went through the centre from two yards out, thanks mainly to the work of Will Lampkin in clearing the way for him, to touchdown for the Philly outfit. Unfortunately, Shipley later picked up an injury and was out of the game for the final two quarters.

With kicker Jake Elliott adding the extra point, the sides were level at 7-7 with 8:46 remaining to the half.

Second Touchdown for Eagles

The Eagles soon doubled their score when Darius Cooper was on the end of a 62-yard throw from Jalen Hurts. The wide receiver sped for the line to claim a second Philadelphia touchdown of the afternoon.

With Elliott successful again with this kick, Eagles moved into a 14-7 lead with 5:31 to play in the second quarter.

Despite the best efforts of Trevor Lawrence, with his Jaguars side camped inside the 3m line in the dying minutes of the half, the Jacksonville franchise failed to add to their side of the scoreboard, leaving the half-time score: Philadelphia Eagles 14 Jacksonville Jaguars 7.

In the third quarter, Cam Little successfully kicked for the posts again with 7:15 to play.

A 34-yard field goal effort, held by Logan Cooker, dissected the posts to reduce the Jags’ deficit to four points. Little’s score was the only one of third quarter which ended Eagles 14 Jaguars 10.

With Jaguars deep in the Eagles’ end midway through the final quarter, Trevor Lawrence and his team mates failed to break the Eagles’ defensive element to score. The frustration was visible both on the face and in the actions of the Jacksonville quarterback, but despite his side’s best effort they turned possession over to their opponents.

Second TD of the game for Parker Washington

Their determination finally paid off when Lawrence found Parker Washington for the the wide receiver’s second touchdown of the game. With 3:26 left on the clock, a 27-yard pass from the quarterback was successfully caught by Washington in the endzone to put the Jaguars back into the game’s lead.

Cam Little missed his effort to add the extra point – his first miss of the afternoon, leaving the Jaguars with a lead of 16-14 in the dying minutes of the clash.

In the final seconds of the game, the Eagles’ Jake Elliott succeeded with a kick from 48 yards to put his side into a slender 17-16 lead. The Jags running back Ameer Abdullah, however, returned the kick off to the 40-yard line. With one second to play in the game, Cam Little stepped up to kick a huge 57-yarder to give the Jacksonville outfit a 19-17 win in this the first of two games for his team in London this month.

Reaction

The Jaguars’ kicker Cam Little said after his successful 57-yard field goal:

“The opportunity presented itself, but you’ve got to shut it away. So I think that’s what you prepare for. I was explaining to a reporter earlier like my job is strictly like I’d be practicing penalty kicks and set pieces all practice long. That’s all I do. I don’t play possession. I don’t play seven a side, five a side; I literally just play set pieces on practice.

Little’s Head Coach, Liam Coen, commenting of the victory stated:

“Mental toughness. It’s kind of what we talked about all week, staying the course. One second left on the clock, guys competing to the end when things weren’t really going your way.

“Guys stayed the course and made plays, we had D-Ham [DaVon Hamilton] snapping again. It was just kind of wild we were in that position. Nobody flinched. Nobody blinked. Nobody blamed. Guys stayed the course and ended up squeaking away with a win.”

Next Week

Last weekend Indianapolis Colts were 30-13 victors over the Washington Commanders in front of a crowd of 60,907 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The third NFL London game of the 2026 regular season will be @wembleystadium next Sunday when the @HoustonTexans will meet the Jacksonville Jaguars.

That will be the 45th NFL regular season International game played in London.

The Indianapolis Colts defeated the Washington Commanders 30-13 in front of an official attendance of 60.907 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, on Sunday afternoon.

In the opening NFL London game of 2026, the Colts and Commanders met in the 13th NFL regular season fixture the White Hart Lane venue has hosted.

Commanders take early lead

The Commanders, the designated home side for the fixture, dominated the opening quarter. They led 6-0 by its conclusion, thanks to two successful field goal kicks from Drew Stevens.

The kicker put his side into an early lead with three points from 31 yards inside the opening three minutes of the game. A second three-pointer, this time from 29 yards, gave his side a comfortable advantage.

Taylor TD for Colts

Much of the Colts’ play, both in the first quarte, and through the earlier stages of the second, was characterised by their inability to successfully complete passes.

They finally got on the scoreboard, however, with 3:23 to play in the second quarter. A five-yard run from Jonathan Taylor, at the end of a 5 minutes and 7 seconds drive, saw the running back touch down for the Colts.

Second TD of the game for Taylor

A successful kick from Spencer Shrader put the Colts into the lead for the first time in the game, with a narrow 7-6 advantage. Shrader kicked a 48-yard field goal in the dying seconds of the first half, to increase his side’s lead to 10-6 at the interval.

Jonathan Taylor doubled his number of touchdowns for the afternoon with an early third quarter score. Another five-yard run-in pushed the Colts further ahead, before Shrader succeeded in adding the extra point for a 17-6 lead for the Indianapolis outfit.

47-yard pass to Burks

With 2:06 to play in the third quarter, wide receiver Treylon Burks was on the receiving end of a 47-yard pass from replacement rookie quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis to get the Commanders’ first score since late in the opening quarter.

With the game seemingly slipping away from the Washington side prior to that, Stevens added the extra score to leave his side 13-17 behind.

Successful Shrader kicks

Spencer Shrader soon kicked his second field goal of the game, with 3:36 remaining on the third-quarter clock. From 52 yards, his longest kick of the afternoon, he gave his team a seven-point advantage.

The Commanders soon thought they had closed the gap when a short pass from Kaliakmanis to Antonio Williams saw the wide receiver charge down the touchline to reach the endzone. With a flag on the play, the touchdown was nullified due to an illegal shift, leaving the score 20-13 in favour of the Colts at the end of the third quarter.

The Colts’ quarterback put his side double-scores ahead when he ran in for a four-yard touchdown early in the final quarter. With Shrader maintaining his 100% kicking performance in the game, Indianapolis were on their way to victory, with just over 11 minutes to play. Another field goal from Shrader, from 44 yards, was the icing on the cake for Shane Steichen’s side, as they ran out 30-13 victors.

This afternoon’s game was the Colts fourth international fixture since 2005 and moved their record to three wins from four, with the Commanders still looking for a first international game victory.

Reaction

Commenting on his side’s London defeat, Washington Commanders’ Head Coach Dan Quinn told assembled media:

“I loved the way the defence started, created some takeaways, but to only get field goals out of those, I thought those were ones that we needed to nail, certainly that.

“Our team is really tough, and I told them tonight, like, man, we are the ones that are built for this type of adversity, and we’re back to the division game, and we’re going to do all we can to get ourself ready. We’ve got a 70-man roster, and we’ll lean into that as we find out more about some of the guys on injuries and also some returning from injuries.”

The Colts’ kicker, Spencer Shrader, whose successful kicks had an influence on the outcome of the game, admitted:

“My gosh, just feel so blessed in both of those experiences to get to come over here (to London). The whole trip has been amazing. We’re so well taken care of. Our staff does an incredible job. This has definitely been one of the coolest adventures in my life, especially with it being a victory makes it so much better. We’re looking forward to the plane flight back but what an incredible adventure. Everyone here has been amazing.”

Explaining what he tells himself before kicking, Shrader said:

“The same three things every time: tempo, eyes down, follow through straight. It’s really simple. That’s the weirdest thing for me. Coming from soccer, I played attacking midfield so you’re engaged in the game the whole time for 90 minutes and it’s a creation game. Nothing is the same. It’s a free-flowing game, you’re creating, attacking, defending so you can really get in the groove of the game.

“Kicking is not like that. They stop the game, you go out there and you have to do your thing, your routine. It’s mentally exhausting. I was telling myself the same thing for four hours during the game, because I don’t even know when my opportunities are going to come.”

The NFL returns to London this afternoon, with the first of three games in the 2026 regular season in the English capital.

Today, the Indianapolis Colts and the Washington Commanders clash at White Hart Lane Stadium, with the game live on Virgin Media 2 from 2.25pm.

Both the Colts and the Commanders come into this afternoon’s game with 1-2 records for the season, while both sides achieved two-point victories last week.

Indianapolis’ Daniel Jones, who played in the NFL game in Berlin in 2025, and Washington’s Marcus Mariota, who started in Madrid, will today become the seventh and eighth quarterbacks to start an international game in consecutive seasons in different markets.

The home of Tottenham Hotspur has previously hosted 12 NFL games, while the Philadelphia Eagles and the Jacksonville Jaguars playing at the venue next Sunday.

In last season’s two regular season NFL games at White Hart Lane, both of which attracted over 60,000 fans, Minnesota Viking got the better of the Cleveland Browns on a 21-17 score line, before the Denver Broncos edged the New York Jets out in a 13-11 game.

Five teams remain undefeated heading into Week 4 of the NFL Regular Season. Interestingly, three of them – Kansas City, Las Vegas and Minnesota– all missed the postseason in 2025.

For the third time in NFL history and excluding the 1920 inaugural NFL season, six head coaches in their first year with a team have won at least two of their team’s first three games of a season, the six head coaches being Buffalo’s Joe Brady (3-0), Las Vegas’ Klint Kubiak (3-0), the New York Giants’ John Harbaugh (2-1), Pittsburgh’s Mike McCarthy (2-1), Baltimore’s Jesse Minter (2-1) and Cleveland’s Todd Monken (2-1).

With the first of this season’s NFL London games scheduled for this Sunday, here is a look at some of this weekend’s fixtures.

Indianapolis (1-2) at Washington (1-2)   Live on Virgin Media Two at 2.25pm

The first of three London NFL games this season sees the Indianapolis Colts and the Washington Commanders face off at White Hart Lane Stadium on Sunday, with a 2.30pm kick-off.

Both teams are coming off two-point wins in Week 3 for their first victories of the season. Indianapolis’ Daniel Jones, who started in Berlin last season, and Washington’s Marcus Mariota, who started in Madrid, are set to become the seventh and eighth quarterbacks to start an international game in consecutive seasons in different markets, joining Matthew Stafford (London 2025/Australia 2026), Aaron Rodgers (London 2024/Ireland 2025); Philip Rivers (London 2018/Mexico 2019), Derek Carr (Mexico 2017, London 2018), Matt Ryan (Canada 2013/London 2014) and Jay Cutler (Canada 2010/London 2011).

Kansas City (3-0) at Las Vegas (3-0)

This is a clash of two unbeaten sides this season.

Last week, Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes recorded his 115th career win, tying Tom Brady for the most wins by a quarterback in his first 150 career starts, including the postseason, in NFL history.

Las Vegas quarterback Kirk Cousins is the only quarterback this season with three touchdown passes in each of the first three weeks and became the first quarterback age 38-or-older with at least three touchdown passes in each of his team’s first three games of a season.

With at least three touchdown passes on Sunday against Kansas City, Cousins, can tie Pro Football Hall of Famers Dan Marino (four consecutive games in 1987 with Miami) and Kurt Warner (four in 1999 with the St. Louis Rams) as well as Patrick Mahomes (four in 2021 with Kansas City) for the most consecutive games with at least three touchdown passes to begin a season in NFL history.

The Raiders’ tight end Brock Bowers had 10 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown in his season debut last week, his sixth career game with at least 10 receptions, the most by a tight end in his first three seasons in NFL history.

Denver (2-1) at San Francisco (3-0)

The 49ers, one of two remaining undefeated teams in the NFC (along with Minnesota), lead the league in point differential (+48), rank second in scoring offence, and are tied for third in scoring defence in the first three weeks.

San Francisco became the fourth team since 1990 to allow zero sacks in each of its’ first three games of a season, joining the 2014 Cincinnati Bengals as well as the 1999 and 2005 Indianapolis Colts.

49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, the only quarterback with multiple touchdown passes and a passer rating of 100-or-higher in each of the first three weeks, leads the NFL with a 133.1 passer rating and ranks tied for first with nine touchdown passes in 2026. He has 14 career games with a passer rating of 130-or-higher (minimum 10 attempts in each game), the most by a quarterback under the age of 27 in NFL history.

With a touchdown reception on Sunday against Denver, Christian McCaffrey, who entered the NFL in 2017, can surpass Pro Football Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk (36 touchdown receptions) for the most receiving touchdowns by a running back in the Super Bowl era.

Denver quarterback Bo Nix recorded two third quarter touchdown passes and the game-winning rushing touchdown with 47 seconds remaining to help the Broncos overcome a 16-point halftime deficit to defeat the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3. Nix has 12 career regular season game-winning drives in the fourth quarter or overtime, trailing only Dak Prescott (14), Justin Herbert (13) and Matt Ryan (13) for the most by a quarterback in his first three seasons since 1970.

Broncos safety Talanoa Hufanga, who spent the first four seasons of his career with San Francisco, became the first player since 1982, when the individual sack became an official statistic, to record a sack and multiple interceptions, including an interception return of 50-or-more yards for a touchdown, in a single quarter of a single game, which he accomplished during the fourth quarter of last week’s game.

New England (1-2) at Buffalo (3-0)

The Bills can advance to 4-0 in consecutive seasons for the second time in franchise history (1991-92). Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen, who last week became the first quarterback ever with multiple rushing touchdowns in three consecutive games, became the fourth player ever with at least six rushing touchdowns in nine consecutive seasons, joining Pro Football Hall of Famers Marshall Faulk (10 from 1994-2003), LaDainian Tomlinson (10 from 2001-10) and Jim Brown (nine from 1957-65).

With a win on Sunday against New England, Allen, who has 99 career wins since entering the NFL in 2018, including the postseason, can become the fourth quarterback all-time with at least 100 wins, including the postseason, in his first nine seasons, joining Patrick Mahomes (112 wins), Russell Wilson (107) and Tom Brady (101).

Buffalo linebacker Greg Rousseau leads the NFL with six sacks this season and became the third player since 1982, when the individual sack became an official statistic, with two-or-more sacks in each of his team’s first three games of a season, joining Mark Gastineau (1984 with the New York Jets) and Pro Football Hall of Famer Kevin Greene (1998 with Carolina).

Jacksonville (2-1) at Cincinnati (2-1)

Last week, in the Jaguars’ 35-6 win over the Patriots, wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter recorded his first career interception and became the fourth player since 2000 with an interception and a touchdown reception in his first two career seasons, joining Marcus Jones, Pro Football Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher and Christian Wilkins.
